The BLDEA’s JSS College of Education Vijayapur has Guidance and Counseling Cell, Which is established in the year 2006.

The Cell function whenever choice are to be made and whine help is needed in making intelligent decisions.

The Guidance and Counseling Cell aims for the development of each student- teacher into an Adult Personality, imbued with social and occupational awareness, intellectual and functional proficiency, and confidence.

• Objective of the Guidance and Counseling Cell
• To provide personal development and adjustment to the student – teacher.
• To provide the self understanding by knowing the self potentials, special aptitudes and interests among the student – teachers.
• To facilitate the awareness of recognition and development of favorable attitudes and habits, and to eliminate the undesirable traits among the student – teachers.
• To provide the selection of appropriate courses such as M.Ed, M,A in Education, M.Ed, in further life –time in line with individual needs, interests, and abilities the student- teachers.
