IGNOU Study Centre – 1307 was established in 1990 on the college campus. At present, the study centre is running more than twenty programmes, namely MCA, BCA, MA (Sociology), MA (History), M.Com, PGDHE, PGDRD, BA, B.Com and several Diploma and Certificate courses like DTS, DCH and CFN, CIG, CIC, CTPM, etc. The study centre has a well-equipped library with a huge collection of books, SIMS, CD’s, audio and video cassettes prepared by IGNOU, New Delhi, on various programs.

Karnataka State Open University Centre – M. Ed Course

KSOU, Mysore, has identified our College as a Study Centre for M.Ed. course in distance mode. The course was started in 2000-2001, with an intake of 25. Students enrolled on the program have to attend a contact programme for 15 days conducted during vacation. The counseling classes are conducted on Sundays.

• The College of Education offers P.G. Course in M.Ed. under Rani Channamma University, Belgaum. Study centres of IGNOU and KSOU are attached to our college.

• One or two ranks almost every year in B.Ed. and on, many occasions 1st, 2nd & 3rd Ranks.
• 45 Ranks and several Gold medals in B.Ed. and M.Ed. Examinations in the last 29 years.
• The classrooms are well equipped with technology such as LCD, Net, public address systems.
• Three of the staff members are recognized as research guides.
